In addition, a new headset flip chip adjusts reach so that riders can easily achieve their preferred positioning. Rear wheel options All models come with 29-inch front and rear wheels, but the flip chip lets you opt for a mixed wheel setup including a 27.5 rear. The stock 29-inch rear wheel optimizes stability and roll-over capabilities, while a 27.5 delivers a more agile, snappier feel and more saddle-to-tire clearance in the rear. The geometry of the Advanced composite frame and swingarm was developed specifically around 29-inch wheels.
